Since last we spoke,

Since last we spoke I’ve done . . . well a little work.

I haven’t much, but I think that had more to do with trying to work on the wrong story than anything else.  I pulled out a different manuscript this morning and have the story churning in my head as I write this.  I spent the day reading through the 82-ish pages I’ve cobbled together from previous drafts and it’s not bad.  I’ll work on it more later.  I think the playlist is going to need tweaking too.  Actually there is no “think” about it.  I know it will need reorganization, fix the pacing a little.  It’s 3 hours of music so, it’s going to take me a little time to get it in a more writable/workable order.

I’ve been churning away on a couple of craft projects I should probably blog about on the craft blog rather than here.

There’s been some family stuff, but I’m not keen to talk about it at all.

Spring has sprung and I’m getting tan and quite enjoying it.  Still think of heading to warming climates, but that’s a ways down the road right now.

Anything else?  Nope.   Oh well, I am up to something but I’m not going to talk about it here either.  😉   Just wanted to do a drive by and let my readers (if I have any left) that regular-ish blogging will return soon.

  1. Okay, the suspense of what you’re up to is going to eat me alive, but fine, have your fun.

I’m sorry to hear about the family stuff.

Glad to hear about the writing progress and especially the good weather. It’s about time!

  2. The weather here is good and is suppose to be for another couple of days so looks like you should have good weather too as long is it continues to move East.

I promise to spill about the mischief I’m up to once it’s played out. I’m currently hunting down leads. Yeah, that probably doesn’t help much does it?

  3. Argh! Now I’m going to be all curious about what it is too! I was hoping for hints in the comments but you only tease us more.

Sorry to hear about the family stuff. I’ve been going through some family turmoil as well, though I don’t blog about it mostly just because my family reads my blog, and that would just make everything worse.

  5. By the way, what’s this I hear about you running out of sparkly pens? You must remedy this, no? I mean, if your girls are talking to you, throw them a bone!

  6. I know, I know. I just figured if the girls wanted sparkly pens they’d scream for them. I *might* still have some, I’ll have to do a little digging later.

So I’m off to get the day started then come home and deal with part 2 of my mischievous plan.

  7. Oh, those pesky books that break into whatever we’re doing and demand immediate attention! Hope it’s going well for you with the new project and that everything else smooths out! (I’m not even going to address the travesty of not having sparkly pens!)

  8. It’s amazing how much more perspective you can gain over time when you put a WIP away and then take it out again later. Good luck on it!

  9. Thank you much Caryn, I’m actually looking forward to getting back into it. I took a week off from writing to refil the well and am ready to dive back into it Monday morning.
