new month, fresh start

I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple days but well, I got distracted.  First by my new sewing machine – love the new shiny.  The second distraction has been the weather.  Summer roared back here.  The heat index yesterday was 97, today it’s only 93.  Yeah.

So the September challenge.  My plan is to have 200 pages finished by the end of the month.  Of course I’ve yet to write a word.  No, that’s not true.  I eeked out a page or two the other night, but I was obviously starting in the wrong place and it was a fight to get into story.  I have a better plan that once the heat stops frying my brain I’ll start.  It’s obvious the Younger Miss Bennetts are ready to work as they’ve been running the playlist through my head for the last 2 days.  Subtle they are not.

That’s it.  A small update on the first of the month with a promise to post more as the month goes on.

And good on you. I’d try to tackle the challenge with you but I still can’t get excited about any of my current ideas or WIPs.
