It's a coffee coloured world

Who am I?

So who am I?  I’m a writer working to get published and sharing that journey here.  I’m also an artist.  I’ve recently come back around to photography – oh the glories of digital cameras.  I also work with fibers, namely fabrics and yarns.  I’ve been quilting for a decade now.  I consider it my inheritance from my paternal Grandmother.  I grew up watching her quilt and as I grew up it was the one artistic outlet that fit.  I also knit and crochet, although it took me years to come back around to it.  A nasty little alergy to acrylic kept me from knitting for way too long.  I also do needlework, but not as much.

What else?

I live for my music.  Another glory of modern technology I’m now able to have my entire cd collection in my purse at all times.  Never dreamed I’d be able to do that, my collection at present is high triple digits.  And yes, it’s bragging.  I’ve been purchasing cds for nearly *cough* twenty years.  Yup, I’m old and have the grey hair to prove it.  And to answer the question of why I don’t dye it?  Because for the first time in my life people don’t look at me and think I’m a child.

I write romance novels because I love the happy ending.  Real life is hard, when I read I want the fantasy of the happily ever after.  I write steamy romances because, well, it’s fun.
